Welcome, I'm Renee!
Thank you for visiting my photography page! I'm excited to get to know you!
I'm a wedding and portrait destination photographer based in Asheville, NC, and have photographed weddings, families, and portraits throughout the entire state of Florida, Hilton Head, SC, and Western North Carolina.
I have been photographing for so long that I know how to create the photos and style of photography that you are desiring. Are you into bright vibrant colors and seeing the true colors of the sunset and the purple and pink mountains? I've got you! Are you into the warm vintage farmhouse-type feel with your photos? I've got you! Are you looking for a photographer that is going to produce artistic photos but captures every moment? That is ME! I'm not going to beat around the bush....having the ability to create options for my clients is very important. In the getting-to-know-you process, that is where I will learn your style and what your dream photo vision is all about.
At the end of the day when you receive your beautiful images, it is not going to be all the same golden yellow filtered look. What does that mean? It means you aren't getting 500 photos all in the same color hue and style, you're not sitting there viewing your gallery disappointed because you remembered the sky to be purple and pink and blues but all 500 photos are sepia brown and golden looking. I love golden photos but you do not want ALL of your photos to be the same. You are going to get a variety of different feels and styles. You are going to get photos in color and the appropriate photos in black and white. What makes me stand out compared to other photographers is that I do not put a limit on the number of photos that I capture and deliver. When you pay for a product, you get way beyond what you will imagine and you can be assured that every moment will be captured. You will have more photos than you will know what to do with and I have yet to have a client disappointed in their final product.
Take a look below at some fun facts about me. I find it awkward to talk about myself because I'm more interested in you so if you have any specific questions, feel free to reach out to me anytime! I would be thrilled to meet you in person or on a video call!

Fact 1
I was born and raised in the Clearwater, Florida area. I went to school for Sign Language Interpreting and transferred to an art school and have my Associates of Science degree in Digital Photography. I started my wedding career in film photography before moving into the digital world. I have photographed weddings all over Florida, in the Hilton Head, South Carolina area and branching into Western North Carolina. I've also had other professional photographers around the country commission me to edit their professional photographs for them in the different styles catering to their brands for their clients.

Fact 2
I grew up as a child coming to Asheville every year with my parents, visiting the Biltmore and exploring Western North Carolina and always knew I would reside here in the Asheville area one day. I'm a mountain girl at heart and love living in such a beautiful and creative place. My husband and I got married in 2018 at Point Lookout Vineyards in Hendersonville, NC! When we first started dating, I took him here the first 2 weeks of us being in a relationship because I knew if he hated the area that we could not be together.

Fact 3
During Covid, the photography business and life in general flipped upside down. We were seeing people our age in their 30's pass away with Covid which freaked me out. I lost family unexpectedly and decided that we just truly do not know what tomorrow will bring. This period of time pushed me to make the move. We made our dreams a reality and moved to Asheville in 2021 and purchased our first home in the area. We are forever grateful to wake up each day and see the beauty of the mountains. It still feels like a dream!
